Book Review |Eleven minutes - Paulo Coelho|

Last week I read a Novel, Eleven minutes by Paulo Coelho. It is the story of Maria, a young girl from a Brazilian village, whose first innocent brushes with love leaves her heartbroken.

In Rio she makes the ill-advised judgment to leave Rio on a stranger's promise of fame and fortun which takes her to Geneva... Instead, she ends up working as a prostitute.

At a tender age, she becomes persuaded that she will never find true love, and believing that "Love is a terrible thing that will make you suffer."

Later she meets a young painter and her unalike view of love is put up to the test. Lately she realizes her mistake and her one decision has taken her to the path of darkness.

This novel sensitively explores the nature of sex, and readers also can explore the potentially consecrated nature of sex within the context of love and life. Feelings are our creation and should be controlled by us or else it will embrace us.

Coelho narrates the story in striking and simple way giving us every detail of what he wanted us to know. His ability creates a character who grabs our sympathy every time we read his books are something unique and should be appreciated.


Coelho's Eleven minutes is surely going to be on my Favourite books list.

new york waiting

"The first meeting and second chance" - carrying this theme is last year's NEW YORK WAITING. One of the official selections for Tribeca Film Festival in 2006, this story has brought together two strangers in New York. One, waiting for love - and another, searching for love - and eventually both of them falling in love. Strange, hugh!

I never thought this kind of story exists in real life, however, movies are movies - and after watching this, it has made me belive that, "Love can strike you any time - any place - any face - any grace, no matter how you carry yourself".

Definitely, the newest entry in my FAVOURITE MOVIES list! It's gonna be a memorable one for a long time.

Obligation!!

Every trouble we encounter day after day is our own creation, aren’t they? We created system/policies and those fucking regulations /set of law, bind us so securely. We simply go after it blindly rather the opposite way around. Why are we all being enforced by ourselves to be captured and thrown in the prison that we’ve created?

Problem money: Humans (we) printed currency, for our acceptance and make difficult stuff sort ort with no trouble, but look what happened each one of us are running blindly to make additional money. Why every thing is put up for transaction? Is it necessary to price all stuff? No wonder in future we might put on the market our own precious soul for money!!

Why citizens are treated viciously in the name of ethnicity, colour? We all are living our own life in own approach, why people in name of religion/belief, in name of God are doing whatever they wish to do!!
Is it reasonable to slaughter/ assassinate people in name of religion?

Does god allows us to execute/kill other people in his name, certainly not coz we simply can’t make departed one survive/exist again can we?!!! So why all these fucking activities are happening around our life, every day and night? What are all of us doing? Are we all Fucking lifeless /deceased/ dead what?

We very simply formed rules/culture/ religion so that we could do what we wished to do and rule the world.

If this trend continues then there is no doubt that one day Machines by means of artificial intelligence will rule us just like our other creations are ruling us 24*7.
Let’s take imitative to obliterate/ wipe out, all the activity that is happening in name or Religion/culture/rules/faith et al.
Let’s stop killing and start supporting life and existence. Let’s make a difference and let’s make it happen. Shall we?

time..

After all whose blunder is it? We all are conscientious for what we do and someone may say that this is providence. Yes! We all are to blame for our deed. But are we sure enough that the whole thing is beneath our jurisdiction? Who controls our thoughts, feelings? Or more precisely which human organ is responsible for initiation thoughts /emotions/feelings et al. Heart or Brain? Or is it eyes!!! No one knows but the most widespread answer we hear is heart doesn’t us? Why heart!!! Leave it!!! Are feelings exclusively reliable for people lessening in love or is it the Magnitude of Magnificence!!!

Looking back, I realized that I’ve only asked question to myself and who is going to answer them? I think I am not that intellectual enough to answer!!! Even I try, I know lots of other questions will appear and whoz going to resolve them too??? |Newton, Einstein| …

Now let’s get to the point! When one person meets some one for the first time and (likes that person) is it required that you have to perceive that individual around you!!! May be that’s love at first vision. So why does these damn feelings play role in our lives?

Questions can be asked or evolve even from correct answer until we are entirely pleased and so on the procedure goes on and on and on just like that…. And life moves on and when you realize entire year has already passed … as they say ‘time and tide waits for no one’

The first meeting should not always be the very last one and I too wanted moment to wait for me, but it didn’t!! It’s my blunder, I didn’t take my chance. But as we all know, every thing that happens, happen for a motive/reason. And who knows this inquisitiveness of mine may guide my way for our next meeting, who knows. Time will decide that, possibly will.
